I first tried Amos Peelerz earlier this year (2025), soon after they came out, and I have to say, these are the best gummy candies of the year! In fact, if there’s anybody who’d like to object to that claim, please feel free to do so in the comments below, and for those who agree, feel free to school that person who thinks otherwise, but be nice about it, ok!
The truth is, not everyone will agree with our personal opinions, especially when it comes to candy; however, I tried a lot of new candy this year, including a lot of gummies and gummy flavors, but Peelerz are in a league of their own! To date, I’ve tried nine Peelerz flavors, which I believe is all of them, not including any limited-edition flavors; I’ve tried those, too, but I’m only ranking the permanent flavors.
If you’ve never tried these, they feature a peelable fruit-shaped gummy shell that opens up to reveal a soft, juicy gummy center, giving two gummy textures in every bite. Plus, they’re made with real fruit juices and are gluten-free! Unfortunately, they’re not kosher or halal certified, but if that’s not important to you, then you have to try these, and I mean all flavors; it’s the only way to find out which ones are the best.
That said, my rankings below are only a reflection of my opinions, so it’s almost 100% likely that your rankings will look much different than mine! This is why I invited you earlier to set the record straight in the comments below; I’d love to hear your thoughts on all flavors! Now, let’s see how your favorite Peelerz stack up against mine…
1. Peelerz Mango
Mango Peelerz are the best because they actually taste like the intended fruit flavor that Amos was clearly after. The outer gummy peel separates with total ease, and the soft center is squishy and incredibly juicy. If you only try one Peelerz flavor, choose Mango. I can easily smash an entire bag of these and reach for another! However, I’ll admit it, although you can peel these candies, I usually just eat them by the handful, as I have very little time for play!
2. Peelerz Peach
Peach Peelerz ranks highly due to its authentic representation of the white peach flavor, which is sweet yet delicate. I found these candies to be genuinely fruity and refreshing. As for appearance, they’re shaped like a peach that you can peel. Unlike many candy products, Amos doesn’t use artificial sweeteners; they use real fruit juices, and that’s something you’ll notice and appreciate right away! These are definitely my favorite peach-flavored gummies!
3. Peelerz Pineapple
Pineapple Peelerz offer a vivid, tropical flavor that’s unmistakable the moment you open the bag. The small peelable pineapple-shaped gummy pieces enhance the experience for most, but for me, it’s all about the taste! Like all Peelerz, these are also made with real juice, which is what I like most about them. Honestly, I’ve had many pineapple-flavored candies in my time, especially gummies, but these take it to a whole new level of authenticity! Prove me wrong.
4. Peelerz Orange
Orange Peelerz offer a delightful citrus experience that’s unlike all other orange-flavored candies, especially gummies! Not only are they peelable, which alone makes them a novelty, but they’re actually made with real orange juice, so they’re 100% authentic and natural-tasting. Like all Peelerz, I eat these by the handful because popping them one at a time takes too long, and is a pretty much a tease. Once you try them, you’ll know what I mean!
5. Peelerz Green Apple
Green Apple Peelerz are instantly recognizable as soon as you crack a bag open! Based on over 40 years of experience, green apple-flavored candy is either a hit or a miss. However, that isn’t the case with these gummy Peelerz, which, of course, are made with real green apple fruit juice, so these aren’t like the sugar-based only candies you’re used to; they’re what you’re not used to, and that alone makes them worth trying, but once you do, there’s no turning back!
6. Peelerz Grape
Grape Peelerz might be ranked #6, but these are perhaps the best grape-flavored gummies I’ve ever had. In my opinion, Amos really sets the bar high with this one! At first, you may think they’re just another grape gummy, but once you bite down and get a mouthful of real grape juice flavors bursting with surprise, then you will honestly know the difference between Amos Peelerz and other gummy brands. 7. Peelerz Lychee
Lychee Peelerz introduces an exotic flavor that, honestly, I’ve never tried before! However, these gummies made me overly curious, so now I must try them. As for the flavor, it’s a tough one to call, but I’d say it’s somewhere between a strawberry, a pear, and some grapes. In other words, it’s its own flavor, nothing seems to compare, which is what I like most about it. If you’ve tried this Peelerz flavor or this fruit, I highly recommend giving these gummies a try; they’re different.
8. Peelerz Sour Lemon
Sour Lemon Peelerz may be ranked #9, but that’s not because I don’t like them. I usually don’t go for lemon-flavored snacks, but these caught me off guard in the best way. The sour punch hits first, followed by a clean citrus flavor that’s surprisingly refreshing. If you like a mix of tangy and sweet, these are worth trying. I didn’t expect to enjoy them, but they turned out to be one of the more memorable flavors.
9. Peelerz Banana
If there’s one thing I can say about Banana Peelerz, it’s that it lives up to its name! Now, I’m not into banana-flavored candy that much, but for those who are, I think you’re going to go bananas for these! According to my taste buds, most banana-flavored gummies suck, but these don’t, even though I’m not into this flavor, unless it’s a real banana! Then again, that’s only my opinion, which, honestly, doesn’t mean anything when it comes to food tasting, especially candy!
