As expected, Ferrero is now rolling out its new Butterfinger Marshmallow bar. First revealed in May 2025 and set for release in September, which is now, this candy combines the brand’s signature crisp peanut butter core with a white, marshmallow-flavored coating. The new variant joins a growing lineup of limited-edition Butterfinger flavors, following the Salted Caramel Butterfinger, and paving the way for a French Toast flavor planned for 2026.

When Candy Retailer first reported on this a few months back, anticipation was already high. Now the Butterfinger Marshmallow is arriving in select stores, mainly convenience chains such as 7-Eleven and gas stations, just in time for Halloween and the holiday season. While the coating gives the bar a very different look from the original, early feedback suggests the taste is surprisingly similar to the classic Butterfinger. According to many who have tried it, the experience keeps the familiar crisp and peanut-butter crunch with an added marshmallow sweetness.

At the time of this post, distribution remains limited, but we expect to have Butterfinger Marshmallow bars in our store soon and will update once they arrive. This launch marks a significant milestone as Ferrara Candy Company accelerates its product innovation. Just recently, the company introduced three freeze-dried candy versions of popular brands, including SweeTARTS, as part of a larger expansion. With Butterfinger Marshmallow now in stores, fans can expect Ferrara to continue driving excitement with new flavors to come!
