Butterfinger is ranked in the top 10 out of 37 best candy bars ever made, and is expanding its flavor lineup with three new releases. The brand just launched Salted Caramel, with Marshmallow following in August and French Toast set for early 2026. Each bar keeps the signature crisp peanut butter core but introduces new coating flavors to refresh the category. This is part of a larger strategy to stay competitive in a constantly evolving candy bar market.
Candy Retailer has carried Butterfinger for more than 15 years, and it remains one of our best-selling peanut butter candy bar brands to this day. We carry all major names in one of the largest candy bar categories anywhere, but Butterfinger continues to stand out. With this new wave of flavors, the brand is taking a big swing to keep fans interested and attract new customers looking for something different without leaving behind what works.
The Marshmallow flavor builds on Butterfinger’s base by adding a white chocolate shell with a light marshmallow taste. It offers a familiar bite with a twist and hits shelves in mid-August. The French Toast version, arriving next year, leans into a breakfast-inspired profile expected to include cinnamon and sweet notes without losing the crisp crunch that defines the brand. These launches reflect a clear trend toward playful, seasonal, and nostalgic flavor combinations.
Butterfinger’s rollout follows other recent moves from major brands under the same umbrella, including the announcement of Nutella Peanut, the first new Nutella variant in over 60 years, scheduled for spring 2026. New product activity is picking up, and if you want to be among the first in the country to get your hands on these new bars, make sure you’re signed up for our twice-a-week newsletter. We’ll let you know as soon as they arrive.
