Sunflower seeds have long been a favorite snack for many, including myself. Known for their texture, flavor, and health benefits, there’s a debate on who has the best seeds, David or Bigs? To answer this question, we’ll examine the two biggest names owned by Conagra Brands. However, before comparing, we’d first like to say that only you can determine which brand offers the best sunflower seeds. When it comes to food, everyone has an opinion, but in this case, it’s one or the other, although it’s possible you like them both!
Personally, I like David Seeds and Big’s Sunflower Seeds equally in terms of quality and flavor. They both taste great and offer several flavors, but I like Big’s slightly better because I love BIG seeds! David also offers jumbo seeds, but Bigs offers more exciting flavors, even collaborating with big brands such as Taco Bell and Takis, to mention a few, which I always find more appealing and exciting. At the same time, David is a brand that I’ve known and enjoyed all my life, so we have a long history together! As for the best, according to you, we’ll let you be the judge and decide.

To begin with, Davids and Bigs take pride in offering high-quality seeds, but attract different consumers for different reasons. David’s is known for its traditional seed sizes, which they’re most famous for, although they’re focusing more on their Jumbo Seeds nowadays, which could come from the success of Big’s Seeds, as they’ve become more popular among consumers for their size and unique flavors. I even noticed a new collaboration between Frank’s RedHot and David, which I’d never seen until Bigs did it first. As for quality and seed sizes, there’s no difference, except that they offer different flavor options and Bigs doesn’t offer the smaller, traditional sunflower seeds, which Davids is most famous for, but we’ll leave it up to you to decide which flavors are best for you!
Davids Vs. Bigs Price Point Comparison
David Seeds is known for its reasonable pricing and perceived value as a trusted brand. Typical prices for David’s 5.25oz bags range from $3.19 to $3.69, depending on the flavor.
