Werther’s is rolling out a new holiday flavor with the launch of Gingerbread Soft Caramels. The packaging describes them as “soft and creamy caramels with the taste of gingerbread.” The product has already been spotted on store shelves, even though summer is just coming to a close. Confirmed sightings include Walmart, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and other major retailers, with broader availability expected by mid-September 2025, which is this week!
Early reports suggest that this candy will be a limited-time seasonal release, likely to disappear by early January 2026, aligning with Werther’s history of introducing holiday-themed flavors to match the season. This new addition follows the return of the brand’s traditional Fall flavors, including Pumpkin Spice, Maple Creme, and Cinnamon Creme, as well as Caramel Apple hard candies, which just joined the lineup this fall. Together, these releases highlight Werther’s strategy of leaning heavily into seasonal flavors to drive interest.
