Kit Kat Ghost Toast is making a comeback for Halloween 2025, and fans have reason to celebrate. After flying off shelves last year, Hershey confirmed the return of the seasonal hit, along with Reese’s Werewolf Tracks. The cinnamon-toast crème coating on classic Kit Kat wafers was a hit when it first launched in August 2024. This year, the treat is back, and early reports show it’s already appearing in stores nationwide.
At Candy Retailer, we were among the first to stock Kit Kat Ghost Toast last season, and to no surprise, they were ghost in no time, as customers cleared us out within days! We weren’t sure if Hershey would bring them back, but demand was strong. Turns out, people really enjoyed that cinnamon crunch with a Halloween twist, and now it’s officially back on shelves for 2025.

Reese’s Werewolf Tracks, another seasonal favorite, is returning, too. This limited-edition version of the peanut butter cup features a milk chocolate base, vanilla-flavored crème top, and the same iconic peanut butter center. It first dropped alongside Ghost Toast in 2024, and both have been spotted again at Dollar General and are expected to roll out at other major retailers, including here at Candy Retailer, soon.
The buzz is growing fast on social media, with fans saying they “want all of them” and candy bloggers confirming the re-release. With Halloween displays already going up, it’s a good idea to grab these before they disappear again. If last year taught us anything, it’s that Kit Kat Ghost Toast doesn’t sit on shelves for long. Keep an eye on our store, and we’ll let you know when they land.
